Course: Diploma In Pharmacy
About the course:
The course of study in Diploma in Pharmacy comprises of Part-I and Part-II. There shall be an examination in the first year on the subjects of Part-I and an examination in the second year comprising the Part-II subjects.
Duration of course:
The course of academic training is of 2 years duration with minimum of 180 working days per year followed by a practical training not less than 500 hours covered in around 3 months.

Admmission Process
The Total admission process is governed by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Mumbai to ensure its transparency, fairness and objectiveness. 80% Seats by centralised admission process & 20% sets at Institute level. Candidates selected for admission in this institute and desirous of taking admission in this Institute are required to complete the admission process on or before stipulated date. The process include,
- Payment of fees as shown in the schedule of fees.
- Two passport size photographs.
- Completed Institute application form.
- Admission could be rejected for any non-submission of any of the specified documents.
- The claim for admission will be lost if the admission is not secured by completing all the formalities within the specified time.
- Original plus two Xerox copies duly attested of all the documents mentioned in the application form.
Documents Required
One Orginal and attested copy in triplicate of the documents to be submitted along with the application form is al follows:
- H.S.C. (std. XII) mark sheet.
- First attempt certificate of H.S.C. (Std. XII)
- School leaving certificate of H.S.C. (Std XII)
- S.S.C. (Std. X) mark sheet
- Domicile & Nationality Certificate of the candidate.
- For category students caste validity certificate, caste certificate and non creamy layer certificate (Current Year)
- Migration certificate of the student (Applicable to other than Maharashtra State students only)
- Passport Size Photographs (4 Copies)
- Medical Fitness Certificate
Admission process for 20% institute level seats is carried out by institute. The Fess & documents require for institute level seats are mentioned above.
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum qualification for admission to course passes, in any of the following examinations with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics.
- Intermediate examination in Science;
- The first year of the three year degree course in Science,
- 10+2 examination (academic stream) in Science;
- Pre-degree examination;
- Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examination.
Provided that there shall be reservation of seats for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes candidates in accordance with the instructions issued by the Central Govt. /State Govts./Union Territory Admns. as the case may be from time to time
The duration of the course shall be for two academic years with each academic year spread over a period of not less than one hundred and eighty working days in addition to 500 hours practical training spread over a period of not less than 3 months.
